SOULACOASTA is a 12-track whirlwind ride through Soul with no safety brakes. The project developed during Close Counters nine month Europe trip, in which they dug up a number of rare groove records whilst crate digging. The end result is a dance-floor worthy mixtape of organic house/boogie/disco and more.

Allan McConnell is a music producer and mixing engineer.

Originally from Taroona, Tasmania and now residing in Melbourne - Allan has been releasing music for over ten years as half of the duo Close Counters.

Allan has performed both internationally and domestically with a number of acts including Duckwrth, Benji Lewis, Dylan Joel, and has supported the likes of Elton John, Robbie Williams, Shaggy and Bliss N Eso.

Allan McConnell is a music producer, mixing engineer and session player.

Originally from Taroona, Tasmania and now residing in Melbourne - Allan has been releasing music for over seven years as half of the duo Close Counters.

Allan has performed both internationally and domestically with a number of acts including Duckwrth, Benji Lewis, Dylan Joel and has supported the likes of Elton John, Robbie Williams, Shaggy and Bliss N Eso.

Allan graduated from the University of Tasmania in 2016 with a BMus, majoring in Music Technology.
